CareNiva Express is a technology-based directory and healthcare discovery platform.
CareNiva Express:
- Is not a healthcare provider
- Does not practice medicine
- Does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Does not employ, supervise, or control Providers
- Does not guarantee access to care or provider availability
All healthcare services are provided solely by independent Providers, not by CareNiva Express or CareNiva.
3. No Provider–Patient Relationship with CareNiva Express
Your use of the Platform does not create:
- A provider–patient relationship with CareNiva Express
- A medical duty, fiduciary duty, or standard of care obligation by CareNiva Express
Any provider–patient relationship exists only between you and the Provider you choose.
4. Medical Emergencies
DO NOT USE CARENIVA EXPRESS FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.
5. Provider Listings and Accuracy
Provider information displayed on the Platform is supplied by Providers or third-party sources.
CareNiva Express:
- Does not independently verify all credentials, availability, pricing, or insurance participation
- Does not warrant accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of Provider information
- Does not endorse or recommend any Provider
You are responsible for confirming all details directly with the Provider.
6. Appointment Scheduling and Requests
The Platform allows Users to request or schedule appointments with Providers.
You acknowledge that:
- Appointment availability is controlled by Providers
- Providers may cancel, reschedule, decline, or modify appointments
- CareNiva Express is not responsible for missed appointments, delays, or cancellations
Any dispute related to appointments must be resolved directly with the Provider.
7. No Medical Records or Protected Health Information
CareNiva Express does not store, process, or maintain medical records or Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under HIPAA.
Specifically:
- CareNiva Express functions solely as a directory and scheduling connector
- Any medical intake, documentation, telehealth visits, or clinical records occur outside the CareNiva Express Platform
- Providers are solely responsible for HIPAA compliance and patient data handling
8. User Accounts and Information
Some features may require account creation.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
CareNiva Express is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard credentials.

11. Providers’ Independent Status
Providers listed on CareNiva Express are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, or representatives of CareNiva Express.
Providers are solely responsible for:
- Licensure and credentialing
- Compliance with healthcare laws and regulations
- Quality, safety, and outcomes of care
- Billing, payments, refunds, and disputes
12. Payments and Fees
Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
- CareNiva Express does not collect payment for medical services
- Any payments for healthcare services are handled directly by Providers or their platforms
- Listing or marketing fees (if any) are governed by separate Provider agreements
